Forwarding an Upfront Self-Tape Request to Talent WITHOUT Submitting Talent

This the symbol that appears on a project if casting is requesting a self-tape in addition to your talent’s headshot.

Instructions

1. Once casting sends out a project with an upfront self-tape request, you will receive an email

2. Locate the breakdown email and scroll until you see the “Roles” section

3. Locate the upfront request by finding the blue highlighted “Video Submissions Requested” label

4. Click on the “Search” button within that role ticket, to access the role

5. On the “Search Criteria” page, press the green “Search” button

6. You have two options:

   • Forwarding to One Talent

     • Select one talent’s headshot to forward the self-tape request to this talent

   • Forward to Multiple Talent

     • Select multiple talent headshots to forward the self-tape request to these talent.

7. Once you have selected either a single or multiple talent headshots, press the blue “Actions” button at the top right corner

8. Select the “Request Self Tape” option, to forward the self-tape request to the talent

9. Press the blue “Save Selects” button to complete the following:

   1. Save the talent you have selected to your “Selected” bin

   2. Continue on to forward the self-tape request to these talent without submitting them to casting

   3. Talent will be able to upload the video from their side, and you can see it before submitting them to casting

10. Forward the self-tape request to talent, by marking off the “Select for Actions” checkbox per talent you’d like to send

11. Press the blue “Actions” button in the top right corner and select the “Request Self Tape” option

12. Type a self-tape note for talent in the “Self-Tape Notes” field - this is optional

13. Press the green “Submit” button to forward the self-tape request to talent without submitting them to casting.

14. Once the talent has uploaded the video from their own profile you will receive an email

15. Go to the “Selected” bin within the role you’ve selected for the talent

16. If the talent has uploaded their video, the upload button will turn into a blue “Play” button - click on the blue “Play” button to view the self-tape

15. Once you have confirmed that talent’s video have been uploaded their self-tape, press the green “Submit talent now” button to continue the submission process

16. Within the “Submission Review” page, make sure that only talent you’d like to submit are checked off in the “Submit?” column. If talent have not yet uploaded their self-tape you can uncheck their box within the “Submit?” column

17. Once all talent you’d like to submit are marked off, press the green “Submit Talent Now” button.
