Edited

This article guides users through the process of correctly uninstalling and reinstalling the software to ensure a clean setup on your Mac.

Uninstalling iSession

Follow these steps to completely remove the application from your computer.

  1. Quit iSession.

  2. Go to the Applications folder, find iSession Titanium, and drag it to the trash.

  3. Go to the dock, right-click on the application, select Options, then Remove From Dock.

  4. Go to the Apple Menu bar and click Go.

    • To access the "Go" menu on a Mac, ensure you are in the Finder (click the desktop or the smiling face icon in the Dock). The "Go" menu will appear in the top-left menu bar, next to "View"

  5. Hold down the Option key. You will see a Library folder appear in the Go Menu. Select Library.

  6. Once the Library folder is open, look for a folder called Application Support. Find the two folders named iSession Titanium and iSession Steel. Drag both of those folders to the trash.

  7. Exit out of the Application Support folder.

  8. Go back to the User Library and open the Preferences folder. Scroll down until you find anything that has the iSession or Casting Frontier name. Drag those files to the trash.

  9. Empty Trash. This completes the uninstall process.

  • If you need to completely remove all previous captured footage or back up data, remove the CastingFacilities folder from the desktop and the CastingFrontierVideos folder from the documents folder.

Reinstalling iSession

  1. Download iSession from the zip file.

  2. Once it is ready, drag it from the install window to both your applications folder and your dock.
